Nick Smith founded Smith Wealth Management Group TX, LLC in 2015, after 15 years as a Financial Advisor. He is a Financial Consultant with this independent financial planning firm, with planning offered through LPL Financial, a Registered Investment Advisor.

As an experienced fee-based planner and independent financial advisor, Nick brings more than 18 years of experience to clients seeking a comprehensive approach to managing wealth and maintaining financial independence. He is adept in the areas of financial, retirement and estate planning, divorce planning, as well as investment planning and asset allocation strategies*.

Nick has developed and refined his P23 Process to take clients from start to finish in their financial journey. He loves to help his clients get to, and maintain, their work-optional lifestyle.

Nick holds his FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations through LPL Financial and holds insurance licenses in multiple states. Nick obtained his Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® certification in 2016 and specializes in helping clients and their attorneys with the financial aspects of the divorce process.

After attending college in California at California State University, Northridge, he married his high school sweetheart, Chrystal, and they moved to Austin, TX in 2007. The Smiths are so blessed to be raising their four children, Blake, Brayden, Ryder and Carla, in the scenic Texas hill country.

Nick places great emphasis on family values and especially gratitude, both for his own family and in serving his clients and community. As a member of Austin Ridge Bible Church, he is active in the Men's Ministry and community outreach programs. Nick is on the board of a local non-profit, Foster Village, that he and his wife founded in 2016. Nick enjoys spending time coaching his children's sports teams, reading and traveling with his family.
